What it is

Feynlab Industrial, in plain terms

A high solids, single component coating with corrosion, chemical, abrasion and UV resistance. It's spray-applied, it chemically bonds with a high film build, and it will restore oxidised surfaces rather than just cover them.

One-time application

Professionally installed once. No annual re-application, no yearly bill, no re-booking every autumn before the salt trucks come out.

Rated to 2,500°F

Chemical bonding with a high film build, and heat resistance to 2,500°F — which is why it works on exhaust-adjacent areas that eat conventional products.

Dielectric neutral

It doesn't conduct electricity, so it's safe on electric and hybrid vehicles — a genuine problem with some traditional undercoating approaches.

Oil-free

Won't damage plastics or trim, won't stay tacky, and won't drip onto your driveway or garage floor in warm weather the way oil-based coatings do.

Against annual drip oil

Both protect against rust. They go about it very differently, and the running cost diverges fast.

Not just cars

Where else it goes

Feynlab Industrial bonds to painted metal, plastics, stone, wood and concrete. If something you own is losing a slow fight with weather, it's worth asking about.

Around the house

Patio stones, outdoor furniture, doors and railings — surfaces that spend their whole life outdoors and show it.

Workforce equipment

Tractors, trailers, tools and machinery. The stuff that earns its keep outdoors and gets replaced far sooner than it should because of corrosion.

General surfaces

Painted metal, plastics, stone, wood and concrete. It will also restore surfaces that have already oxidised, rather than simply sealing over the damage.

Questions

Corrosion protection FAQ

How is this different from oil undercoating?

Drip oil is reapplied every year. It stays wet by design, drips in warm weather, and can degrade plastics and rubber trim over time.

Feynlab Industrial is a high solids ceramic coating applied once. It chemically bonds to the surface with a high film build, cures to a solid film, and is oil-free. Different approach, different running cost.

Is it safe on my EV or hybrid?

Yes. It's dielectric neutral — it doesn't conduct electricity — and it's oil-free, so it won't degrade plastics or trim.

That combination is exactly why it gets specified on electric and hybrid vehicles where conventional oil-based undercoating raises questions.

How much does rust protection cost?

$999.99 for a coupe or sedan, $1,049.99 for a compact SUV, $1,099.99 for a full size SUV, $1,199.99 for a 1500 series truck, and $1,249.99 for an extended or heavy duty truck.

Wheels-off application adds $400. Engine bay packages run $300–$450 by vehicle size. All one-time applications — there's no annual renewal.

What can it be applied to besides vehicles?

Painted metal, plastics, stone, wood and concrete. In practice that covers trailers, tractors, tools and workforce equipment, plus residential items like patio stones, outdoor furniture and doors.

Mobile application is available for anything that can't come to the shop.

Can you coat a vehicle that already has surface rust?

It depends how far it's gone. The product restores oxidised surfaces, but coating over active, scaling rust just buries a problem that keeps going underneath.

Bring it in and we'll look at it honestly. If it needs mechanical prep or bodywork first, we'll say so rather than take the booking.

Should I do this as well as a ceramic paint coating?

They're different jobs. Feynlab ceramic paint coating protects the finish you look at — gloss, chemical resistance, easier washing.

Feynlab Industrial protects the parts you don't look at: underbody, frame, the areas that take road salt and brine all winter. Plenty of clients do both.
